The walking paradise of the Tarscheralm & Latscher Alm
| While those wishing to conquer a peak have to trudge up a vertical path with their supplies on their back to the summits of the Hasenohr glacier (3,256m), and the Zwölferkreuz (2,513m), walkers can use the high mountain paths to the Koflraster lake, the Tarscher lake etc. ... or simply to the cosy restaurants: the well-run alpine huts. The fare is usually simple, but delicious and energy-giving: pancakes, dumplings, soup with meat or simply bacon with fresh alpine cheese and Latsch crisp bread. |   |
