After a successful start in September 2009, the GPS Bike CUP Laces will also take place in 2011! A sensational new timing section was added: from Laces to the renowned Stelvio Mountain Pass! 6 months - one CUP!Where is such a thing possible? In the cycling paradise of Latsch in the beautiful Vinschgau region! The cycling season begins at the end of March. And from May 1 until October 31, you can complete the four routes on the Latscher Alm, the Tarscher Alm, to St. Martin im Kofel and Martell/Stausee, take part in the prize draw! New highlight: the Stilfserjoch Race Designed as an individual race, all enthusiasts can now measure their times on the famous Stilfserjoch via GPS and compare online. Take advantage of the opportunity to train with friends, your club and for personal races! What’s so unique about it? Everybody can complete the stages in their own time according to how they feel, then compare themselves online with fellow riders and top competitors and look back at and analyze the stages once again. After a one-time registration on the platform, the ride will be transmitted! We support you on location! Routes can be completed both with a mountain bike (all stages) and with a road bike (Martell and St. Martin im Kofel)! Instructions Where do I get my GPS device from? You can rent GPS data recording devices from us in the Tourist Office and from our partners! Warning! With GPS data, time recording cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate! History – The CUP 2009 The CUP 2009 was the first of its kind in Italy. Four magnificent routes had to be completed between September 16 and October 31, 2009: on the Latscher Alm, the Tarscher Alm, to St. Martin am Kofel and Martell/Stausee. Amateur and pleasure cyclists were able to take part alongside more ambitious riders, and all participants had a chance of winning raffle prizes. The lucky winners received their prizes at the BikeTestival 2009. Markus, a genuine bike hotelier and Vinschgau biker from the Residence Pension Obstgarten, won in 2009 with an overall time of 6 hours 7 minutes and 24 seconds.  COLNAGO professionals team with Eva Lechner will be there once again.
Eva Lechner set a record time in the Martell valley back in 2009. Her teammate, Nathalie Schneitter, was also there and showed a few of the men what she was really made of. “We really enjoy looking back at the stages on the internet and comparing our performance with our fellow riders. We hope to see as many sports fans as possible taking part again and getting themselves on the results list!
