The name is synonymous with the joy of living, but also cosiness. ´That is precisely the way you will experience the market community of Latsch (639m) and Martello (950 - 3.790m) with the localities Goldrain (650m), Morter (729m), Tarsch (800m) and St. Martin im Kofel (1740m).

Latsch lies in the heart of the Vinschgau Valley, the apple garden of South Tyrol, beautifully tucked away between the Ortler group and the Oetz Valley Alps
in the immediate vicinity of the Stilfserjoch National Park (the largest in Italy) and near to the spa town Meran (25km).

It is one of the communities in South Tyrol richest in castles, one of the sunniest and the place where the most fruit per inhabitant is grown.
