Afterwards, Mr Hermann Lampacher will accompany you to the St. Peter and St. Paul Parish Church, the Spital Church with the Jörg Lederer altar and the Bichl church. In Neuhaushof the farmer's wife Tona spoils us with homemade cakes and coffee. We then visit the beekeeping farm and its products at the Bachgut-Hof. And its back on the "old Tarsch path" through blooming orchards back to Latsch. Apple teaching trail and visit to the Mivor Fruit Co-OperativeDate: every Wednesday from 21.04. to 04.08.2010Start: 2 p.m. Meeting place: Mivor car park (industrial zone) in Latsch Duration: 1,5 hours Fees: free of charge In the apple garden of the Vinschgau, accompanied by Leo the farmer, you will learn everything worth knowing about ‘integrated cultivation’, space-covering irrigation systems, the impressive frost protection system and, last but not least, about the unique taste of the Vinschgau apples. You will experience herbs with all your senses and learn valuable details about processing and refining them. The adventure show garden and the show garden on the roof of the Kräuterschlössl with its variety of herbs and wonderful view will inspire you. Tip: Our farm shop is open 7 days a week. The old mill “Soi Reit” (first mentioned in 1888) has been lovingly and faithfully restored. You can experience the fascinating process of milling grain into flour in the flesh. Long-forgotten expressions like “grain hopper” or “broad box” are made comprehensible using touch, sight and descriptions. The old manufacture of wooden fences, dry stone walls, “Schindlkliabn” and “chopping fence nails” are explained and looked at. Step back in time to when your grandfather was a boy in this tour and learn how to look after our landscape - one of the most beautiful tasks that exists in “God's garden”. At the farmhouse, you will be welcomed by one of the wine growers, who will give you lots of information about the cultivation, care and processing of grapes. Afterwards, we will taste different wines in the unique wine cellar. The return journey is along the Tieftalweg, through orchards and back to Latsch. Particularly exciting is absailing with the lift. "Cheese display" at the Oberkaser farm in St. Martin i.K. The Pixner family will be waiting for you there and will explain how cheese is produced. Then taste the farm's dairy products Creative handicrafts for the family with hay, moss and wool felting at a mountain farm in MartellDate: every Friday from 28.05. to 03.09. and from 15.10. to 29.10.2010Meeting place: 2.00 p.m. at the Stallwieshof in Martell, Waldberg 1 Duration: approx. 2.5 hrs Minimum number of participants: 3 people (suitable for children aged 3 or above; children must be accompanied by an adult) Maximum number of participants: 20 people Participation fee: 10,00 € Including: homemade natural juice to quench your thirst Important: for organisational reasons, please state the age of children when registering At the “Stallwieshof” in Martell – where there is also a “petting zoo” - adults and children can spend relaxing hours in the barn where Anni and Margareth show you what kind of things you can make from hay and moss. They also show you how to felt wool and all kinds of original presents that can be made from it. There are no limits to the imagination! The small pieces of art that you make can be taken home as a souvenir. |
