Martell Valley – the valley between strawberries and glaciers.  The Martell Valley, nestled in Stilfserjoch National Park, is one of the most beautiful side valleys of the Vinschgau Valley. It extends from 950 m up to the Cevedale glacier at a height of 3769 m. Here you will find exactly what you need in order to recuperate, to gather energy for everyday life: Quiet, pure, healthy mountain air and untouched nature with a unique fauna and flora. The hiking paradise awaits you with several hiking paths at the bottom of the valley, panorama hiking paths in the high mountains with an intoxicating view of the glacier world of the Ortler group. The Martell valley with its growing areas at heights of 900 to 1,800 m is Europe’s continuous strawberry growing area and also offers ideal climatic conditions for the cultivation of various types of berries and vegetables. |
